 julio Montero

Julio Montero is an emerging contemporary artist originally from Acapulco, Mexico who moved to Los Cabos more than a decade ago. Montero began his artistic exploration while working in the Gallery District of San Jose del Cabo for several years. He received private lessons from well-known landscape painter Dennis Wentworth Porter, and during this time his own minimalistic style began to form. Julio works in mixed media and enjoys using organic elements such as coffee, as a natural stain, to reach his desired effect. His paintings reflect his love of nature and the beautiful Baja peninsula provides endless inspiration for his work.

Self-taught and multidisciplinary artist originally from Sinaloa, Mexico.

Its theme is very varied and ranges from realistic to abstract, impressionism and graffiti.

Also covers very diverse subjects such as murals and portraits.

The painting took him several times to different destinations such as the United States and Europe.
